Percentage
of Foreign Students even higher in University of California System as being a
California resident does not mean having US Citizenship or Permanent
Residency:
In University
of California system, if someone get
classified as California resident that does not mean that student is US Citizen
or US permanent resident. There are many other categories which are classified
as California resident, if you factor these categories, the percentage of
foreign students is even higher as many of the students in California residents
category are not US citizens or US permanent residents. We downloaded the categorization guidelines
from University of California website. California residents pay lower tuition
fees.
